Over time the ozonator check valves can begin to breakdown under the harsh conditions of ozone. The check valves have a special diaphragm (Viton) that enables them to last longer.... Click on picture for more details.

A flow restrictor reduces the amount of ozone that will be sucked into the injector through the Freshwater III Ozonator. Reduced flow will in turn reduce the bubble size in order to prevent a "burping" effect on some models of Hot Spring and Tiger River spas. If the ozone gas bubbles are too large, it will produce an annoying intermittent burping sound coming from the spa. The burping effect will NOT harm the spa however.

This red ozone injector was used with the Freshwater I & Freshwater III (for Hot Spot & Solana spas). It designed to allow a pre-determined amount of ozone bubbles per minute to enter the spa's circulating system. Click the "More Info" button for details.

The injector fits in-line after the Silentflo 5000 (discharge side and after the heater). This Kynar plastic "venturi" injector is ozone resistant and is used with the Freshwater III High Output Ozonator by Watkins manufacturing. Click on the picture or the details link for more information.

The ozone intake assembly filters air as it enters the Freshwater III (3) ozonator prior to converting O2 into O3 (ozone).

This 1/4" Kynar/Tygon tubing kit comes standard with the Freshwater III Ozonators and is also the current replacement tubing for all Freshwater III. Kit includes(2) plastic hose clamps.
