Cool Gray Color:73582
Jade Color: 71729
Taupe Color: 71898

This control panel is located to left of the filter compartment, on the bartop, next to the air control valve. It connects to the 8-pin terminal (P29) on the control box main circuit board. The control panel face consists of three interconnected items: the digital display, the control buttons, and three indicator lights. The control panel allows the spa user to receive diagnostic information, and to regulate the spa light, jet pump, thermostat, and circulation mode.

DISPLAY
Jets Indicator (steady red = jet pump is ON)
Light Indicator (steady red = spa light is ON)
Circulation Mode Indicator (steady red = circulation mode is ON, but pump is OFF; blinking red = circulation mode is ON, and pump is ON)
Jets Button (low speed/high speed/standby)
Light Button (ON/OFF/display circulation mode setting)

Temp Buttons:
‘—’ (temperature reduction/circulation mode OFF)
‘ +’ (temperature addition/circulation mode ON) DIGITAL DISPLAY

The digital display is only active for thirty seconds after the temperature is displayed, then the digital display panel will go blank until a control button is pressed or until a diagnostic message is displayed. The digital display is a 3-digit LED display window that allows the spa user to view:

● The set point and actual temperature of the spa water in
● Fahrenheit or Celsius (depending on the jumper settings).
● The circulation mode setting (on or off).

Five special diagnostic messages:
● Prr – temperature probe malfunction (possibly the connection).
● FLC – pressure switch closed (indicates that the pressure switch and/or control box is non-operative because the pressure switch is detecting pressure even though the jet pump is not on).
● FLO – pressure switch open (designates a bad connection between the pressure switch and circuit board, or low flow condition – not enough water pressure is detected when the jet pump is turned on).
● HL – heater high limit has tripped (heater temperature has exceeded 120 Fahrenheit (plus or minus 2 degrees ).
● 102 flashing in the display – circulation mode and temperature settings need to be reprogrammed because power was disconnected to the spa (pressing any control panel button will stop the flashing).

INDICATOR LIGHTS
There are three, red indicator lights located on the control panel, which convey the immediate status of the spa to the user.
1. The jet indicator is lit when the jet pump is running.
2. The spa light indicator is lit when the spa light is on.
3.The circulation mode indicator is lit when the circulation mode has entered the 20-hour segment of the cycle when the low speed jet pump is inactive. A blinking circulation mode indicator means that the circulation mode has entered the 4-hour segment of the cycle when the low speed jet pump is activated.

CONTROL BUTTONS AND SETTINGS
There are four control buttons on the control panel: Jets, Light, Temp–, and Temp+.

Jets and Light Buttons
The Jets and Light buttons activate and deactivate the jet pump and spa light respectively. The jet pump will automatically shut itself off after 2 hours, and the light will automatically shut itself off after 6 hours. The spa light has two settings: on and off. The jet pump has three settings: manual high speed, manual low speed, and thermostat-controlled automatic low speed or standby. Standby will switch the jet pump on low speed to circulate water through the heater if the actual temperature of the spa drops (plus or minus) 2 degrees Fahrenheit below the set point.

Temperature Buttons
The desired water temperature selected by the spa user is called the set point of the control thermostat, and may be adjusted by pressing the Temp+ or Temp– buttons. The Temp buttons control an electronic thermostat. When the water temperature drops below the set point, the heater and low speed jet pump will turn on (provided that the spa is not in tranquil mode). The standard temperature range is 50 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit . After 104 degrees Fahrenheit is reached, higher temperatures may be set, but they are displayed with special notation – U1 represents 105 degrees Fahrenheit , U2 represents 106 degress Fahrenheit, and U3 represents 107 degrees Fahrenheit the maximum temperature set point.

NOTE: If power is disconnected from the spa, the set point will revert to its default temperature (102 degrees Fahrenheit ). Also, whenever the jets are turned off, they cannot be turned on by the thermostat for 10 minutes (see Tranquil Mode).

Circulation Mode
Apply pressure to the Light button for 3 seconds to display the status of the circulation mode (ON or OFF). Then to turn the circulation mode ON press the Temp+ button, or to turn the circulation mode OFF press the Temp– button. The circulation mode is a continuous cycle that switches the jet pump on low speed for 4 hours and then off for 20 hours.

NOTE: If power is disconnected from the spa, the circulation mode will revert to its default setting (OFF). Also, whenever the jets are turned off, they cannot be turned on by the circulation mode for 10 minutes, due to the Tranquil Mode.

Removal
1. Disconnect power to the spa.
2. Remove the equipment compartment door.
3. Reach up underneath the bartop (from the equipment compartment) and dislodge the mounting bracket by unscrewing the two wing nuts that secure the control panel to the spa shell.
4. Open the control box lid.
5. Unplug the control panel 8-pin connection wire and remove it from the control box.
6. Make sure the connection wire is not entangled with any other wires or caught on any equipment, and lift the control panel straight out of the spa shell.
7. Reverse the removal procedure to install the control panel in the control box.
NOTE: Before you secure the control panel to the spa shell, temporarily reconnect power to the spa and verify that the control panel works properly by accessing each of the control panel functions.
