GFCI Breakers & Sub Panels

These "mini breaker boxes" accompanied all new "permanently connected 220volt" Hot Spring, Limelight, Tiger River & Hot Spot spa models.

The correct sub-panel to pass inspection with your building inspector. If your spa is wired 220volt then you’ll need the correct sub panel with the GFCI breaker(s). This is to comply with your spa manufacturer’s UL Listing. To pass inspection with your local building department and to be covered by your homeowner’s insurance, one of these sub-panels has to be wired in-line between your main electrical service (meter) and your spa.
