Sub Panels & GFCI Breakers
These "mini breaker boxes" accompanied all new "permanently connected 220volt" Hot Spring, Tiger River & Hot Spot spa models.

The correct sub panel to pass inspection with your building inspector
If your spa is wired 220volt then you'll need the correct sub panel with the GFCI breaker(s). This is to comply with your spa manufacturers UL Listing. To pass inspection with your local building department and to be covered by your homeowners insurance, one of these sub panels has to be wired in-line between your main electrical service (meter) and your spa.
